It's Farenheit, and the conversion is :
F = 9/5 C + 32
or
C = 5/9 ( F - 32 )
C is Centigrade or Celsius. I forget what Kelvin or K is, but it is close to Celsius. I think -273K is absolute ZERO, which is as cold as it is physically possible to become, like in zero atmosphere outer space. The only "quantity" measured, being "heat" since cold is really absence of heat. So even in those cold Maine temperatures, there is actually some "heat"...kinda hard to figure at those temps..brrrrrrrrrrrrrr
