Here in Maine we haven't seen the temperature rise above 20 degrees for most of January. I can't remember the last time I saw it above 0 when I got up in the morning! This morning it was -16!! Everything is frozen solid; lakes, streams, rivers, even the ocean is beginning to freeze over. A couple more weeks of this Mick and I'll be able to drive my big, fat, gas guzzlin' SUV across "the pond" to the Emerald Isle, dodging polar bears along the way.
