*** You don't listen to O'Reilly because you want to hear both sides of a story and be given a chance to make an informed opinion based on your values and experience. You listen to O'Reilly because you want him to present a ready-made opinion for you. ***
Dan, have we met? No we haven't. So please don't be presumptuous to know "why" I listen to O'Reilly.
My post was not meant to debate the pros and cons of a talk show host. It was meant to illustrate an example of the doubletalk and the "holier than thou" attitude that seems to permiate from the left. And with all due respect, your reply to my post is yet another example of that. You, and others of your ilk, can not stand to hear views or opinions that contradict your own. And when, God forbid, a vast majority of Americans disagree, well then they're called stupid. Right?
I want to hear opinions from both sides before I form an opinion. I do not, nor will I ever, blindly align myself with a belief, an opinion, or an agenda without listening to all sides. I will form my own opinion based on facts and I will never parrot the views of those with an agenda. I will always think for myself.
