Since David is working alongside the greatly underappreciated Dean Parks for an upcoming project, then I'd suggest something from Steely Dan, a band who Mr. Parks has been a regular contributor for a few decades. How about something off of 'Aja' or 'The Royal Scam?' "Don't Take Me, I'm Alive" is my favorite off of 'The Royal Scam,' although I'm not certain whether or not Mr. Parks played on that particular cut of not. Yes, let's do "Don't Take Me, I'm Alive."
