when people’s earlier choices/endeavors lead them to commercial wealth...and they age gracefully...and come to some sort of epiphany and choose to put meaningful time into representing something social/benevolent...in a rather mainstream apathetic industrial complex of a world, rather than grow rank & overindulged & java the hut & preposterous on the fleece like Lee Raymond, one might cut them a little slack in the tread lightly barefoot upon the streets of Katmandu between meditations...and shoot the Buddha if you meet ‘im path...to enlightenment.
But I DO hear what you’re screamin’ Mick.

I saw a Peter Gabriel interview on early AM television this morning, not sure what channel ~~ maybe public access, ...& here's another old cat seemingly continuing to make an attempt with all his rancorous riches to...toss a meaningful pebble into the pond as well. I can think of worse pursuits for the ultra-wealthy & up-to-the-minute sorts.
I hate to bicker with you over this...because you do present such a serene and enlightened character in your posts [;o)], ...but there’s something to be said about th’ harder choices made in the interest of benevolence. ...What the media does to prop it up iz just what the media does...exploitation regardless: It’s that “machine” that RW wrote about some 30 years ago. Sheez, ...that’s a long damm time ago. Seems more like 20.
...th’ pebble & th’ pond....
