Hhhhmmmmmm...ya know that's funny, Pat. A lot of very bright people have waxed philosophical on the shelf life of democracy...in fact one of my favorite books about Hitler begins in just that line of thinking.
So I have to admit you have intrigued me with your post...but I get the sense you are using it as a way to bash liberals and the idea of some sort of "handout society" that your drill instructors have warned you about. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt though as you posted something interesting...of course you tagged the bottom of the post with Joe Olson's cute statistics...I don't know I guess to make sure you kept us all properly baffled...but I'll ask you this...
Based on what you posted I'm curious if you have an interest in seeing some sort of democratic union prevail here in the United States or you would rather a dictatorship that enforced a rule of law based in Christian ideology?
