Thanks Alan! Adelaide is in fact on my itinerary, and I am fortunate in being able to visit with a buddy of mine who lives and works there. I am then off to Perth after that. From the looks of it, I think I will end up liking both places probably more than Melbourne and Sydney.

Glenelg Beach in Adelaide looks nice and there is this very romantic looking place called the Indiana Tea Room in Cottesloe Beach, Perth. It'll be too cold to swim, but the visuals are amazing. Might be a nice place to have a "cup of tea" and watch the waves. My friend says there is a nice bike ride from Perth down to "Freo" (Freemantle). I'm gonna send him a copy of those lyrics.
