Thank God...at least someone finally got it! Yep, Brad were
Bad...That's the inimitable Shawn Smith on funky vocals, the same
guy who sang with Satchel (the song Mr.Pink from my first Burn
Unit...a lot heavier but many of their songs sound like Brad also...).
The personnel of the two bands was largely interchangeable, the
main difference being Stone Gossard (from Pearl Jam) on guitar
with Brad, and someone else (I am blanking on the name) in
Satchel. Seattle based, very creative. If you like that, buy the CD
"Brad vs Satchel", it's all good, and probably very cheap on
Amazon. Shawn has his own solo stuff, which is just about all,
bluesy/funky piano and vocals. Warning: He grows on ya'....not
kidding.
