Yep, the old Forum even had some bad seats, the infamous Orange Section, that was definitely nosebleed material.  They were partially obstructed views also due to the overhang from the press box.  But the tix there were cheapest, so it was filled usually with drunk a/o stoned college and highschool kids.

The best seats were box..ringside, next the cushioned red seats, behind those the regular reds.  Blue was mid-section, then green (or was it brown, don't recall) and .....waaaay up the Orange.

Although primarily for hockey, I saw many great concerts there during the off-season.   Beatles, Zep (twice), Grand Funk Railroad (they weren't too good, but were the loudest band I ever heard..), etc...etc...

They had THE best hotdogs ever.   During periods there was a mob gathered for them.  No problem.  The guys who served them had this huge grill with hundreds of hot dogs and also toasted the buns in the same grill area (the rolls are unlike anything you have in the US; Montreal hot dog buns are kinda rectangular, good bread...).  You'd just tell them how many and he'd slap a dog in the bun, automatically smear mustard on them (this was not optional), and give them to you instantly; they had to...the mob was very surly.   I'd love to have one now...I'm getting hungry.  If you ever visit Montreal, try a Frites stand or Hot Dog stand..they make a similar product.  The fries are often fresh-cut; add white vinegar, sprinkle on some salt and then ketchup...

Gotta go...it's lunch time!
