To be honest, all I remember about that date was that they were running 3! Sony 48 track digital machines and it was a big honking mess. I think I had a cold, too. Mike Mills was singing, too, and he was terrific. After hanging out a bit with Levon Helm, I have sort of mixed feelings about Robertson. He seems a little... disingenuous.
