I really enjoyed this film, but the thing that bothers me about it and American society is how we lump every thing about disputes between the divergent cultures into the harmful category "racism". My own thoughts are, I think people can have stereoptypical views and not necessarily be a "racist" and possibly even act in a prejudicial manner and still not necessarily be a "racist". I do think that it is wonderful that a film like this can come along and get people talking. Now, did anyone see "Curb Your Enthusiasm" on Oct 2? There are some also good lessons about race in that episode. For example, the main character asks their friend Wanda Sykes a race question and her reply was something along the lines of, "How the hell do I know?!?! Am I your fucking encyclopedia on race shit?!?!"
