i dunno. at the residential treatment facility for emotionally disturbed kids i used to work at, i had to deal with some pretty big 12 year olds...5'9", 140 or so, and me with only a 5" and 25 pound weight advantage. but i still took 'em down when they got out of hand. every time. it's a matter off will. had i a taser or otherwise, i wouldn't have needed/used it, and i had to deal with violent kids armed with kitchen knives, forks, steel rods, etc. ya just gotta rush 'em fast and overwhelm 'em, preferably with another staff member, but that wasn't always the case. tasering is for the lazy, because i know for sure it's not the only way. just the easiest. hobbits armed with rocks, of course, is a different story.
