Okay, Big Fat Freddy,
You can never say never when it comes to human behavior.
Here's a scenario for you and you tell me what you would do:
You have an unusually large 12 yr old (which is not uncommon these days for a variety of reasons), who has emotional problems and has a large butcher knife in his /her hand and is extremely angry and yelling he/she is going to kill someone. Let's even make it even easier....let's say between the two of you is a big, oak kitchen table and the more you talk to this 12 yr old, the more irrational the 12 yr old is becoming.
Now let's say since the 12 yr old can't get to you, the 12 yr old starts carving his/her arms with the knife and won't stop.
What are YOU going to do? You have a taser, gun, pepper spray, nightstick and your hands. Tell us....
You simply can't say a blanket "never".
And if anyone doubts there are 12 yr olds big enough to kick an adults ass, just go to a runaway or children's home facility. This "children" can be big and tough.
