Well, thank you for your graciousness - but I felt the need to apologize because I'd addressed you and Kevin and your respective locations in a sort of general/sweeping manner that reminded me of someone I didn't and wouldn't elect. It showed and I'm sorry for the offhand manner that I posted it not to mention my not so little embarassment...

My family has been freaking out due to the sensitive and unknown nature of what my cousin's doing. There's a nuclear plant in New Orleans...we're all worried about it...the gummint's blocking pictures of the dead (including TV) as they've done in Iraq. What about satellite phones? Remember how they weren't selling? - too bulky - too big - too expensive? Hmmm...who's equipped with what?

There's an interesting point of view with regards to local government here - in that - there's a lack of talent willing to 'administer' government - when they could make so much more money lobbying or working towards a golden parachute...that those willing to administer get elected across party lines - It's like 'shit - you wanna be Guvnah?' - I'm not exaggerating nearly enough, but I'm always accused of equivocating when I talk politics with my sister - it's a different ballgame everywhere else as this thread has proven to me...

We certainly see things differently - not the least of which is due to our locations I suppose - I got schooled - and I'm grateful.

I don't hate guns - I try not to hate inanimate objects like statues and such - it's a man made thing you're trying to hate seems to me...That is all I have to say about this here...Truly.
