When the waters recede, it will be interesting to see if snakes and alligators do become a problem. Here, every once in a while an alligator is hauled out of someone's pool or backyard. But, they are never shot, unless with a tranquilizer gun. I don't think that here in the US guns should ever be outlawed, as some might suggest. It is that they just seem a little to easy to get and that aspect should be dealt with. I am with Kathryn in that guns scare the willies out of me and I know that since I don't know the first thing about guns, I would need some serious training.
