He's already a republiklan - how much more torture do you want him to endure?

I'm going to come to his defense. WWII was a "good" war, but that doesn't mean someone not volunteering to go was opposed to it or insincere in their beliefs.

The US has a volunteer military, so unless you want to go you shouldn't. The fewer that go willingly, the higher the price becomes... finally resulting in a better representation of the real cost of war. This current engagement has been at greatly discounted prices - not only because the chickenhawks sent our boys over lacking vital equipment and supplies, but also because our manpower levels were comprised of so many weekend warriors - grossly underpaid soldiers that had very low expectations that they could ever be sent off on such a totally unworthy cause. Others have already pointed out another uncounted cost - our (no doubt) Christian use of depleted uranium shells. Hit our checkbooks hard and we'll see some real war protests.
