Hi Andrea/All:

And perhaps we should just have contracts on the ready before mixing it up at all so it is a level playing field, as it were.

Perhaps it will/should come to that. But, as best I can tell, there are no level surfaces in life. I've even found that when I try to level them some for others benefit, that it is generally viewed as an opportunity to use and abuse rather than seen as well meaning generousity. I kid you not.

Too, it would be a shame. We've become such a legalistic bunch as it it. Please God, don't allow us to be automated entirely. Is it life without spontaniety?

A> And of course the fetus is not the woman's body, but part of it perhaps? And of course the fetus is not the woman's body, but part of it perhaps? And of course the fetus is not the woman's body, but part of it perhaps?

Truly it is a part of the woman's for a time, what a wonderful privelege at that, but not hers to claim alone and arbitrarily. That portion of the field has not been anywhere near level. Nor am I convinced it should be(aside from some modern legalistic absurdities touched upon here previously).

Y'know...perhaps you here will find this silly, perhaps most would, but even as a teenager, before the season of child bearing arrived for me, I always felt at a loss that I could not bear a child directly. In those years I fancied myself a poet/writer and I thought of such things in terms of the greatest creative endeavor available to mankind, which wasn't available to men. Or at least me.

Maybe it was just Seals and Crofts influence(now there was a career ending song, huh?) but more likely the times.
