Yeah, they were the group to go see in Montreal in those days.  Considered the most amazing stage show at the time.  The air was always hash-laden, and then of course the Bic lighters went on from thousands of fans.  Montreal was the hash capital of the world then, or so it was rumored.   Had to be there.  I wasn't.  I think Ummagumma was the last Floyd album I bought.  I liked DSOM, but never bought it.  I'm definitely a Syd era, and pre-DSOM fan.  After that, they ceased to be a musical force for me.

Coulda kicked myself though.  I was in Amsterdam in 1970, and missed a Floyd show by a few days; I think my parents were taking us elsewhere.  Mighta been Syd at the helm then.   They played the Paradaiso, which I think is still in existence.
