Pat,

No, I am not talking spies, but did mention the CIA agent (his name escapes me) to show that just using the military uniform for Geneva Convention protections is unrealistic.

If you go back and look at the initial start of the Afghan war, there were American soliders in highly covert operations trying to blend in with rebels in Afghanistan. And this sort of thing has been done forever in military operations.

My question to you was, if they are captured, don't you expect them to treated humanely? I certainly do.

Next, part of the problem with categorizing the enemy as "looney cowards" is that it takes away from being able to actually defeat these people. When they are mischaracterized as that it actually does no good for the American people. For example, in this case our enemy has been enjoined in a "war" for hundreds of years. They look at this war in a completely different way than Americans do. They also seem to have a stronger stomach towards their "cause" than American's do ours. (And don't reply that I am fucking honoring or taking their side, because I'm not).

They are also using completely different tactics and strategies than we are. Hell, look at how long it took for the Bush Pentagon to admit they were in a guerilla war when everyone else around knew that a soon as the Saddam statute was pulled down, that is exactly what we were in.

Lastly, you show your cards by spouting FauxNews Talking Points when it comes to Muslim outcray. In fact, the other day FauxNew's idiot reporter Shephard Smith was reporting what you just claimed 0 that Muslim countries never criticize these bombings, when guess what? The scroll under the screen was running headlines like "Muslim Countries Condem London Bombings".

Sadly, what you say isn't true. Some nuts go out and say things like you mentioned, but it's not mainstream like you portray it.
