At first I was quite amazed that someone could remain silent on something like that for so long.
But then I saw that it was a bigwig in the FBI. Talk about an individual trained in not disclosing secrets! Look how long they kept the fact that J Edgar Hoover was a cross-dressing stickeater who was blackmailed by the mob for decades.
I seem to recall a sitcom that had a Deep Throat character in it.... was that Welcome Back, Kotter?
