The movie is probably Crossing Guard, he had a cameo in that one and sang as well.
DB and I are not related (that I know of); I'm just a humble fan and we have a lot of musical types on this site that wanted to do a little tribute of sorts, doing our own versions of some db tunes. I picked Crash and did it in my way. Glad you enjoyed.
