Maybe I'm wrong here, but I don't think I've ever heard such a blatant rip-off before in my life. Not only does the singer sound like Chris Martin. He poses like him in press photo’s, hast the same clothing style and haircut. If I was Chris Martin, Not only would I be scared that someone is so freakishly imitating me- I’d sue the bastard and his record company. Remember when Tom Waits won his law suit against, I believe it was Frito-Lay for using a sound-a-like in one of their ad campaigns?

Anyhow, a fun follow-up would be to list famous Sound-a-likes in music history:
