i'm not even going to respond to that. if it's responses you're after, go get your own damn web site.
although here in CA, Prop 13 from the late 70's reduced property taxes to a pretty radically low level. politically it's sweet sweet suicide, but it'd be more fair - and good for our perennial budget messes - to see it amended. not holding my breath.
then again, cutting legislators' salaries, perks, pensions and benefits would be just if not more palatable. breath still not being held here.
