-Where is the Property Rights mythology in ever needing to pay the government rent in order to retain what you payed in your quest for the 'American Dream'?
-Is it really fair to have a mechanism in place that forcibly removes people from their home in their old age?
-Property taxes encourage sprawl.-And most important(in my mind), given the American Dream myth, why can't the government leave me alone on my(supposedly???) land? At least if I've payed it off. Why should you be allowed to buy and pay off your hundred acre heaven, and live happily ever after.because the government, when you strip away all the fluff and sweet mythologies, believe you are their property and property tax is a mechanism that proves it.Please tell me otherwise. Let's debate it. I've made these challenges to so many of you on your pet subjects and then you never defend your presumed convictions. I only have an 8th grade education, can't you dismiss me with other than silence?Be well all.
