Iran is predominately a young country.  Overwhelmingly the youth of Iran are chafing against the restrictions of the mullahs.  This kind of situation is the type we used to exploit really well...  Fund dissidents, destabilize local leadership and infrastructure, invest heavily in sabotage and propaganda, harass, suborn, intimidate and sometimes assassinate  specific adversaries. Make their economy scream.  Sanctions, international pressure, restraint of trade...  A classic scenario.  See Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Nicaragua, Chile, etc.. Or, we could choose another catastrophic war, which will inevitably turn our potential allies among Iran's youth against us. And deepen, if possible, the rift between the so-called Christian countries and the so-called Islamic ones.  Not to mention that it would certainly require a draft, which would widen the social and political divisions in this country to possibly Civil War standards. Which is why Bush Inc. would probably pursue the catastrophic war option.  After all, if the family trades are weapons and oil, perpetual war and martial law at home are actually good things.  

We're coming to the stretch here.  Time to send these bastards back into their hole for another sixty years.  Get Out The Vote!!!   Drag people to the polls if you have to.  Piss off all your friends. Bribe, cajole, prostitute yourself if you have to.  This is it.
