This has to do with Homeland security? It has to do with health not security. Am I wrong in this?
You are! Homeland Security isn't just about wiretaps, indefinite detention, and bomb-sniffing dogs Pat. Don't you think that a healthy, well-educated America is a stronger America? I never hear that concept put forward by conservatives: access to health care for all our citizens and making public education a top funding priority.
Seems like a nation of cough-racked ignoramuses would be a pushover for those tough boys from Jihadsville.
