There is a part of me that fears if Bush wins a second term that his administration will push things to the brink in the Middle East and get all apocalyptic on us...although I try to push those thoughts aside and chalk it up to paranoia. It's just that looking at certain moves they are making seems to indicate that what they are shooting for is a rapid and drastic increase in the body count.
One other note, I heard a Republican politcal consultant say that Bush and Cheney are more than a little pissed off at the media and Democrats and that if they do win a second term "there will be some serious payback"...meaning if you don't like their policy now just wait and see what they do in their 2nd term when they are free to go for broke. They believe the liberals in this country need to be punished according to this guy...sort of chilling if you ask me.
Hey but maybe Tom Delay is on his way out...couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
