Thanks Green. I grew up Catholic and I know the bible pretty well. I didn't reject Jesus. I don't think you need to do that...I don't buy 'Paulinism'. I can take what I need and outgrow the contradictions and dogma as such. Trust in God but tether your camel first...Buddha was reluctant to expound the Dharma and only eventually did so reluctantly...again he talked about how pointless it was to ask questions about the arrow you'd been shot with whilst lying on the ground...where did it come from...who shot it...what is it made from...just deal with the arrow...i.e. the four noble truths...the eightfold path...However I do belive that Buddha's teachings have been more faithfully and accurately retained than Jesus'...his I feel are distorted big time...no fault of his (His) though
