Icon Re: Russert Show (O'Lielly v Krugman) and Left/Right Brain Thinkers...

Pat and I exchanged a few emails the other day. We both really miss the good ol' days of the DBIS. (sigh)

Anywho...I saw the last 10 minutes of this Tim Russert show with Krugman and O'Reilly and then taped the repeat in it's entirety. After I saw the whole thing I thought about coming on the board and reading the thoughts of the radical left, who are obviously still in command. (KevinG...get out while you still can. It ain't worth the aggravation.)

Well Eric, you didn't let me down. Some old childish name calling, same old rhetoric, same old agenda, same old distortions. The fact that you actually believe Krugman came across as a "quiet, unassuming, liberal, college professer/columnist  of the New York Times, who makes his points with low key intellectual statements..." is totally hysterical! He was nothing of the sort. Krugman was very nervous, ill-prepared, completely unprofessional and quite pathetic. He was shaking, he was sweating and his eyes were all over the place. My wife thought he was either really nervous or he was on cocaine. We actually thought he was going to have a nervous breakdown right then and there. It was that bad.

But I knew someone here would find (or should I say "create") a silver lining in that debacle. Thanks for the laugh Eric. Good luck in November. I may be back then to really rub it in.

(And now a quick shout out to my old buddies Reg, Peter and Mick..)

Hey boys! Hope you're all doing well and enjoying your summer! Reg, you still owe us some beers.

Mick; "Marbles" blows but "Ocean Cloud" is fantastic!
