Did anyone happen to catch the Tim Russert Show with New York Times columnist Paul Krugman and Bill O'Lielly?
After watching it for the hour, several things came to light. The first is that Tim Russert's next book after "Big Russ and Me" will be titled "Big Puss."
The next thing is that Bill O'Lielly left no doubt that he is a major asshole and might need counseling for his anger issues. Oh, and he to will be writing a book, "Big Puss and What To Do When I Can't Take The Heat."
For those who don't know who Paul Krugman is, he is a quiet, unassuming, liberal, college professer/columnist of the New York Times, who makes his points with low key intellectual statements and who is not afraid to say, "wish I knew." Really, it is almost impossible to hate this guy.
Through this show, O'Lielly called Krugman all kind of names and insulted him every time he got a chance and when Krugman would say something back (like it wasn't his show and he couldn't cut Krugman's mike off) O'Lielly would whine, "OH! Another cheap shot."
But what was really shocking is that from watching Russert's show in the past, you can tell he likes to have civil conversations, but on this one O'Lielly must have scared him because just sat there while O'Lielly took control of his show.
Now all of this leads me to left and right brain thinkers, so I did a little research on it and it seems that most of us here seem to fall into the category of predominate left brain hemisphere thinkers and the few here are the opposite. It's kind of interesting and a simple Google search will pull up many sites that explain it better. One even has a test to show what sort of thinker one is.
So if we can just get KevinG (who I admire for his willingness to remain in this outnumbered cafe), PatBrown and Richard to explore their left brain hemisphere a bit more, there might be hope for them after all.
Don't ask me what KDB should do......for all I can tell he might be a fan of trepanation.......(that's a joke Kent)...
