Grumpy old whiteman...well, it's true (at least at times). Nope, never cared much for "Van", since about the late 70's. I mean it's a spectacularly beautiful area, but the downtown leaves me cold; little "charm". Then again, I was born and raised in Montreal, so I am coming from a different perspective. It's still my favorite Canadian city.
