The Austin shows were at the Steamboat, which was basically a rehearsal studio. Looked like something Kramer from Seinfeld designed - levels rather than furniture. The shows I saw there had all of a couple dozen in attendance - though on one of those nights one of the attendees was Will's brother Charlie - who did join the NFU for a couple soings.
