I agree with Dan that mp3 is the way to go. I think if you compress the songs to no less than 160kps you'll be pleased with the results. Here's a nifty, free download which is nearly custom made just for you. It's called dBpowerAMP and it will convert your digital files into just about any format you need and is quite easy to use.
