Agree. Lenny ruled...still does. Do you have Carnegie Hall Concert? It is re-released on CD. Absolutely the best recorded concert of him that I have heard. Another that is great (but still not up to the Carnegie), is Curran Theatre in SF, done a couple of years later, and really one of the last, if not the last major concert that he ever did, owing in large part to his persecution at the hands of the "authorities". But...he did get the posthumous pardon, from Gov. Pataki (?sp), so ...there's some small consolation there. Let me send you a link to a great (probably the only) worthwhile Lenny site. Decent clips, soundbytes, and decent guestbook. Even Don Friedman, (Lenny's impresario for a time in NY), wrote in. Geez...Don must be in his 80's now.
