I believe it was on your recommendation Kent that I checked Hicks out. Some of it was hot shit, some just shit. Glad I listened though. Haven't heard about this rant so I'll have to check it out too, damn you.)

I like social commentary(read: truth well put) and though he died before I came of age, Lenny Bruce is still the best. Recently began looking into a gentleman who proceeded Lenny by the name of Lord Buckley who in the whole Jazz styling sense must have influenced Lenny. Steven Wright was funny too. For all the available material, there's not enough good comedy. Pryor and Kinison were on the mark at times too.
