Kevin M:

Your tale of Canadian "poverty" on an income of $50,000 per year reminds me of something I experienced recently. The dropping of interest rates here in the States dipped bank savings account interest to as low as one-half of one percent INTEREST.

After receiving a cash settlement a few years back for my being infected with HIV along with the other 10,000 men with HEMOPHILIA here in America --- at one point I found myself with exactly $50,000 left in my account --- the same amount you referred to in your message.

The amount that $50,000 earned me in monthly interest was precisely $100.00 --- that's it --- one hundred dollars!!!!

The days when having $50,000 mean something ARE OVER!

The global elite, mind you, continue to make money BOTH when the market is going up AND when it is going down. It is their dishonesty that continues to bring home someone else's bacon --- irregardless of market kinetics.

If I wanted to be a backstabbing sonofabitch, I could have been FILTHY RICH. But, because I chose to be led by my morals instead of my thirst for ever greater amounts of money --- I earned one hundred bucks a month for my troubles.

But, at least I can sleep at night . . .
