I love "thinking" movies, however, my main point was how Hollywood relentlessly fawns over movies that are about its own lifestyle.
The movie "Adaptation" was good, but I didn't think it deserved all of the platitudes it received and most of them seemed to come from those who work and breathe in Hollywood.
Kent, have you seen "Irreversible"? It's really not a thinking movie, but does play with how one perceives things. However, it is not for everyone. It is one of the most graphic films I have ever seen. Very graphic and depressing.
