I agree that other forms of art can be very powerful. I mean I like reading a book because I can visualize things for myself...paint my own pictures. I guess what I meant when I said that was that with a film you get to combine powerful visual images, the writing, the skills of the actors, music, the talents of an editor...and when combined with a supersized sound system and giant screen at your local theatre...well you really can bash someone over the head with whatever it is you're trying to depict.
I think you need to have it in you to sit back and contemplate an image dredged up from Pablo's subconscious, rendered in paint, and hung on a wall. You sir, obviously have that ability. Hat's off to you my friend. Good choice of painting for our times...maybe they could display that in the White House...you think George would get it?
