Can someone explain to me when and where is the debate over violence and cruel speech going to start? I find it asinine that we are having a debate over a woman's bare breast while tv and our culture is full of violence and hateful speech. These things seem to fall along the roadside of dirty cursewords and crudeness intead of being examined.Hell, look at the recent tv shows. Law and Order is trying to outdo the CSi shows (which I do not regularly watch, but have seen some of the most gruesome images on this tv). And is it not very odd that some of the most violently graphic and crude shows originate from Fox? Has anyone taken a look at FX's Nip/Tuck or The Shield? My point is, why are all these idiot politicians and broadcaster bureaucrats focusing on the meaningless (Jackson's tit) instead of the things that really matter? Over the weekend a buddy of mine rented one of those backyard wrestling video games with both men and women wrestlers. I am no prude, but the violence in this game was shocking. Especially against the women characters, who both threw in sex and violence. Things such as this are what we should be enraged against, not Janet Jackson's surgically enhanced boob.
