I haven't lately no but I really like that film. With Rove around it wouldn't surpirse me if people were living "The Parallax View". Scary ain't it? There's some parts of "Three Days Of The Condor" that have an eerie resonance in our present situation...when they talk about the Middle East and the oil and "playing games" and when Clif Robertson says to Redford that people won't care how we get the oil when we really need it they'll just want us to get it!
Yup, we've come a long way huh? Ahh...I love 70's films.
Tonight I'm going to watch Oliver Stone's "Nixon" on DVD. It's a good film...a little over the top at times but that's what makes it fun. I heard a really funny story today about Nixon and it made me want to watch the film. Basically the guy telling the story was saying how politics has changed so much since the 70's...it was interesting to me to hear him say that because I've been thinking about that so much lately.
Well...in between I'll be checking the NH primary results...word right now is Kerry is out in front by double digits and NH could be Joe Lieberman's Iowa. Lieberman said today he knows he'll finish better than third...looks like he's 4th or 5th at best at the moment but a lot of people called in to the radio station I was listening to to say they voted for him...so who knows.
