and his plan to offer amnesty to 8,000,000 illegal aliens is outrageous! What is he thinking?

He's thinking..."I've ignored all the hispanic voters I schmoozed during my last campaign...do something quick!"

So, in doing so, does he alienate a large part of his constituency? Yep.

With this broad, ham handed stroke, does he set a precedent that pokes holes in many of the homeland security and patriot act foundations?  Maybe.

Does it make Hispanic Americans want to vote for him again?  Probably not. 

But all of this remains to be seen.  It just seems like the pattern...quick and dirty solutions that try to say, "I'm for the Little Guy." which translates into, "I don't think the little guy is very smart."
