Using the Self-Serving Bastard Model of our President, I will make a prediction.

With the elections looming just around the bend, the Bush Administration will reduce the amount and intensity of US Military forces and set up a transition period to hand front line security over to Iraqi Military.  It will be touted as a success and focus on positive strides will be forced upon the media.  Meanwhile, suppression of the bad stuff will occur.  In otherwords, more of this "Mission Accomplished" stuff will get shoved down our throats.  Continued uprisings by opponents of the US backed regime will be downplayed in the media and we'll all be covered in this "We Won!" mentality.  Meanwhile, the Administration will focus on Economic growth while playing off negative economic indicators by slow growth in jobs.  Mr. Bush cannot afford to be stuck in Iraq.
