...10 minutes into the broadcast, after the Michael Jackson update. You know, I'm getting this wierd feeling about the election - with all the factors in play, we may wind up with Bush as President and a Democratic Congress. We have the growing discontent with this administration, then the states and cities all have deficits from lost taxes and the federal budget cuts fueling local unease. Against this we have the coming propaganda assault and Diebold manuvering their machines in place to swing the election to Bush. My sense is both parties will focus on the Presidency and the congressional races will be left to fall where they may. The recent Govenor's races may have gone Republican, but all of them tossed out Incumbants.
