So, I think it should be made clear what Trump's relationship to Epstein and Maxwell was. It is documented and it has a lot of witnesses and, of course, victims.
Maxwell was known to Trump and many wealthy men as "Madame Maxwell" as she was a procurer of young women and girls for these wealthy men. She is mentioned in articles in the 1990s as a person bringing young women to Trump. Maxwell was a groomer, meaning she was the one training these young women and girls how to give a hand job, a blowjob, a massage, teaching them what these wealthy men liked and how to serve it up to them. She had sex with these young women and girls as well. Enjoyed it and if these girls complained, she dropped the hammer on them for complaining. She put them in positions where they could not leave once she had them on the island, or in the townhouse, or the house in Florida. Trump saw her as a person he liked because she fed him young women and girls.
Trump is a transactional person, he likes you if you give him something. She provided girls and young women for Trump to have his way with, whether the girls or young women wanted it or not. So, he liked Maxwell, but Trump does see women as lesser creatures, for his use and abuse. So, as long as women do what he wants, he is fine with them, but he believes mostly they are stupid and just toys for him.
Epstein was his buddy though. For 15 years. He liked Jeffery because he was like Jeffery. They both thought women and girls were to be used and treated as sex toys. Epstein and Trump shared one woman for a while. Both of them using her and trading stories of how they used her. Epstein would call Trump and tell him when he had a girl at his place that Trump could come by and use. He brought women to Trump's office so he could fondle and grope them. They would laugh about it together.
Maria Farmer tells the story of meeting Trump at Epstein's place at night after being out for a jog, Trump thought Farmer was there for him, to be his toy for the night but she was there to do some office work for Epstein and Jeffery intervened as Trump was looming over her and said "No, no, she is not for you. Go in that room. Yours is in the other room."

Later Epstein and Maxwell would rape Farmer and her younger sister. Farmer was the first person, it is thought, to have informed the FBI they should look into Trump for his participation in Epstein's sex ring.
The reports say that Epstein and Trump would get together 3 to 5 times a week for years. Many that like or liked Trump call his Epstein years his "bad boy days" but the things he was doing in these days, were far worse than any of them care to admit.
Epstein and Trump did have some tussles, over the exact things that you might think they would argue over. Money, real estate, and girls. You see, if you were not giving things to Donald, you were not his friend. Transactional, this is his nature. So, Trump let Epstein recruit girls from his club, allowed Jeffery to use his properties for sex parties as well, one of the sex parties Trump held is also documented by a rapper Trump invited to the party. Trump had naked young women in various rooms, obviously drunk and/or drugged. The rapper could not tell their age but he thought they all looked very young. Various older men were going in and out of the rooms with the young girls. The rapper was scared and put off by this. Felt there was something very wrong going on and did not want to participate. He thought the place could get raided at any minute.
Epstein apparently chaffed a bit over how much he had to give Donald. When Trump took an interest in a woman Epstein was seeing, he wanted Epstein to bring him the woman so he could have some too. This could have been a game, but likely Epstein wanted some things from Trump as well.
According to the reports, many wealthy men used the services of Epstein and Maxwell, they were always there to provide them, but nobody used their services more, was in the Epstein residences more, than Donald Trump. One witness said "The guy was just always around."
Nobody has more to bury and more reasons to bury it in this Epstein story than Donald Trump. He is panicked and he is trying to distract from this in any way he can.
Maxwell and Epstein were some of the most horrific child abusers one FBI guy said he had seen in his career. Trump intends to make a deal with Maxwell not to talk about him in exchange for a pardon. It is coming. People in Trump's first administration said he talked about pardoning her back then. He wanted to but was told it would be a bad idea.
So, he just publicly wished her well. One of the worst child molesters known to the public and he wished her well.
I don't know where this will all end up, but at the moment, it seems a portion of his base believes he is hiding things. Honestly, I don't think his history with Epstein is well hidden. A lot of it is right out in the open. Epstein attended his wedding, recruited girls out of his club, they were regulars at each other's properties and offices, Maxwell was reported in the papers in the 1990s bringing women for Trump to test out. All the photos and videos of them together, laughing, partying, surrounded by young women. Sometimes girls.
"Jeff's a great guy and loves women as much as I do. Especially on the younger side." Trump said.
Trump is a bit boxed in on this. He does not have a Michael Cohen to hire people to go shut people up. He has Todd Blanche and he sent him down to cut a deal with Maxwell, immunity, a pardon, no further prosecution if you do not talk about what I did and even better, lie and say I was not involved.

If the same information was out there about Obama, Biden, any Democrat, MAGA would have a massive lynching party and we'd never stop hearing about it on FOX and the rest of right-wing media.
I am not sure what the MAGA folks will do here. I've given up hope on MAGA people or Republicans doing the right thing. He is a child molester, but he is their child molester and not even sure what they would do if they saw the tapes of Trump raping and beating a young girl.
Shoot someone on Fifth avenue, tell a 13 year old to wear a glove while she gives you a hand job. Yeah, MAGA, some of them, might be alright with that. My hope is most are not.
