I hope Newsom can stop it. He appears to be putting up a good fight. In a normal circumstance, if protocols were being followed, Newsom would be the one to make this call. It would come through the governor calling the president to ask for help...not the president just unleashing the military on American citizens. That is not legal, Trump does not have that authority. I know he thinks he can get it by declaring yet another fake emergency, but it should be stopped. 

If we were in a normal world, ALL politicians no matter their political affiliation would be speaking out about this. It was known before he was elected this second time that one of Trump's goals was to change the military from a force to protect us from foreign threats, to a force to put down domestic dissent. He wants to be able to use the military to kill Americans. 

Honestly, this was on the checklist I imagined he would start going down once elected. He needs to set examples, arrest judges, arrest politicians, go after universities, go after educators, obviously continue his relentless assault on the media...and turn a protest bloody, claim it is out of control and there are "violent" people there and using the military, kill at least some of them. Maybe a lot of them. 

I want to question if these marines he wants to unleash would fire on their fellow Americans. If a military commander would refuse that order. Hegseth has approved it. Hegseth will approve deadly force against Americans, that's why he is in the position he is in. 

I did not want to write these things here because I wanted to believe they would not come true. 

It will be horrific if American military men open fire on American civilians. There is no justification for that, no way that should take place, I was stunned when I saw a couple Republican politicians on TV trying to justify it. 

These politicians, all of the ones that want a country, better come together to stop this and point out how insane it is.
