I just received the promotional materials to review David's new 'Here Comes The New Folk Underground' last week (cd, bio, etc.).
I can assure you that the folks at Lost Highway Records are very fine folks and good to work with. Keep in mind;
1) They are a smaller label and not nearly as much staff as the 'big boys' get.
2) David isn't the only release from an artist that they are dealing with too; Tift Merritt's 'Bramble Rose' was just released June 4th (awesome record, if I may say so).
I too am a fan of David's music and I think that this message board is great too. The folks at Lost Highway Records do browse this site too, so as long as the comments are kept clean, and we ALL keep wanting to jump in and push David's new cd and tour, they will respond.
