Hello Baerwaldians,

Well, I'm back in the states, have been for a while in fact. I've left Isla Noir for good. Love reading the papers here. It seems the Bush administration is just trying to drum up bad guys to give us an excuse to pump money into some funky stuff like "Star Wars" missle defense systems and the like. Wonder where all that cash really goes? We've been dancing with the Chinese, I've read about the Russians and how they have 41% more spys in the United States than they have ever had before...41%!!! How do they come up with a number like that? Spying is at an all time high I guess. We must fear the great Russian bear again! I could go on but I don't really feel like it at the moment.

The amazing thing about the U S of A is how available everything is and how much there is to go around. So I've been being a good consumer and I've been out trying to buy lots of summer music. Columbia has been remastering some of their Miles Davis catalog and I've grabbed those. It was always my secret fantasy to be a great jazz musician and to live in Paris. Well, I've lived in Paris. I also want to see some live music while I'm here being that at this time of year there is just so much of it. So I'm asking for your help. Could all of you good folk out there tell me a bit about your summer music plans. What are you listening to, looking foward to, what shows are you going to see? Are you a musician? Are your writing any of your own stuff? Performing anywhere? Mr. Baerwald? Are you out there?
