I'm not sure whether to take that as a recommendation, insult or confession =o)

They could all be contenders...one quality I'd like to see in whoever produces upcoming projects is that they can follow DB's muse - whether it's playing dark rock, german caberet or just an acoustic jangle.

In that respect, my only (constructive) criticism of `Bedtime Stories` is that it's too much of it's time. They're great songs but the heroic LA production values hinders it for me on a few tracks. IMO `AFM` will age well (it'll be stacked next to `Blood On The Tracks` in my case!) but to bring in a mainstream producer like Froom is good for radio play but bad if longevity is one of the orders of the day.

To deviate topics a little (before this turns into a handbag fight) do you think `Triage` could/should be made into a musical of sorts? (When I say musical I'm thinking more Brecht and Weil than Andrew Lloyd Weber) I recall David making the reference to that kind of German caberet and a number of the songs could be delivered with the same passion and depth as `The Threepenny Opera`. Anybody wanna relive the 1980's and early 90's????!!!!!!

Adios,
Richard
