>I simply think this board could be a little more about
> the writings and music of David Baerwald.
This is one reason I had suggested / requested a Lyrics section at this site. (which went un answered as far I can tell)
I think it would be a good tool for creative discussion.
( not that I can discuss creatively )
The whole concept of Triage rings with me because I found myself in a position to perform a sort of Triage with my own life in the early 90s.
I too found my myself too wrapped up in issues.
I received a divorce for Christmas in '89 and in january of 1990 I divorced myself from alcohol and other mind altering substances.
I spent much time in a small apartment with me and examined the things in my life / self which were mostly hidden by denial previously.
It was scene very similar to the guy in "The Wall" locked in his hotel room doing his own personal inventory.
It took a lot of unlearning before I could become an empty vessel.
I learned that it is important for me to wear the world like loose garment.
I can get involved in politics and in short order I find that I am making myself sick.
I learned a lot about what is and should be important in my life to maintain some sort of level of peace.
I was born to love.
