Yes, I believe both my mother and my wife are participating in groups and talking to people that help them deal with having an alcoholic in our lives. I am not and have not but I have had meetings with alcoholics and addicts to discuss how and what I am doing. I've not joined a group officially, but I talk to people to hear what they think and try to get suggestions.
I don't think I am doing great with it, but I am so far, holding my own.
